Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChessOmni ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ChessOmni provides AI-powered chess game analysis using the Stockfish chess engine and AI coaching features. You may analyze games by pasting a PGN, uploading a game file, or linking a Chess.com or Lichess account.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

• ChessOmni Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually via PayPal.
• Refunds: You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase by contacting support@chessomni.com. Refund requests after 7 days, and requests for renewal charges, are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period beyond the 7-day window above.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with advance notice to active subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate the terms of Chess.com, Lichess, or any linked third-party platform.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service's infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including OpenAI (for AI coaching responses), PayPal (for payment processing), and Chess.com/Lichess (for optional game syncing). Your use of these integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms.

7. Disclaimer

ChessOmni's analysis, move classifications, and AI coaching are provided for informational and educational purposes. They are generated by an automated chess engine and AI model and may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessOmni is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@chessomni.com.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
